Direct-Hire Placement

Direct-Hire Job Placement

Sometimes called Perm placements, our goal is to make a great match between you and your new employer.  A Boly:Welch recruiter will walk you step by step through the Direct-Hire process.  To make the best match, we'll start by reviewing your interests and your professional skills and abilities as you prepare for a successful hiring experience.  This might mean assessing your computer or accounting skills, helping you refocus your resume, or providing interviewing tips to fine-tune your approach to potential employers.  And because placement fees are client paid, the job of your dreams comes at no cost to you.

How to Register

Submit your resume and cover letter to the division email address below as the first step in our process.  Upon receipt of your information, our team of recruiters will review your background to determine a fit with any current or potential openings.  If we feel we can be helpful to your search process, we will invite you to meet with a Boly:Welch recruiter to continue registration with a personal interview.

What to Bring When You Register

  • Bring two copies of your resume
  • Bring three professional references with current phone numbers and email addresses
  • Bring two forms of identification to verify eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Bring in any printed registration materials sent prior to your appointment

What to Expect When You Register

First, we want to get to know you, so please allow plenty of time for your first meeting with us.  Your recruiter will likely offer you the opportunity to participate in any testing or evaluation from home before the personal meeting to optimize your time in the office with us.  If you choose to test in our offices, plan about two hours, so you can complete registration paperwork, take tests applicable to your job interests, and of course, meet with one of our recruiters.  Please plan to dress as you would for any professional job interview.

During this meeting we’ll have an opportunity to get a sense of your personal goals and interests as well as truly understand the professional skills and abilities that you bring to an employer.  Remember, our job is to make a good match between you and our business clients.

Your recruiter will determine which, if any tests you should complete to assess your skills to maximize your opportunity for successful employment.  Typical tests for positions within the Office division are the MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Other tests include typing, spelling and grammar.  For accounting-related positions, we administer bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting evaluations.

Testing at Home

You can arrange to test from any computer (PC) that meets our system and high speed access requirements.  Your recruiter will send you full instructions and a pass code to use in the process, then review your scores when you come in to meet with us.  If you feel you're a bit rusty, we also offer on-line tutorial programs for skill development.  Need help?  Just ask us!
