Community Connections
We've said it before, but we mean it - our success stems from within the community where we live, work and prosper and we value the organizations that make the Portland Metro area a healthy, vibrant and livable workplace.
To recognize and celebrate the contributions of this critical web of relationships, we developed an ongoing model for our community giving involving partnerships, volunteerism and financial giving. This program called Celebrating Community Connections passes along a portion of our billings to organizations that provide ongoing education and support for at-risk populations in the Portland Metro area. Meet the two partner organizations in our 2010 giving program:
In addition, we support a broad range of local organizations through sponsorships, in-kind giving and the volunteer efforts of our employees and candidates.
During 2010 we developed a forum designed to introduce a range of non-profit organizations to our client base. Aligned with our goal of building connections, Community Connections is a quarterly series of workshops designed to showcase a local non- profit facility and create an opportunity to educate businesses on how they can more deeply engage with community organizations. Attendees connect on a personal level and learn concrete ways to involve employees in activities or programs that impact the lives of others. From volunteer opportunities to in-kind giving to partnership programs, we have embraced both the value and excitement of modeling community stewardship.
