Welcome to Boly:Welch Recruiting

Thank you for choosing Boly:Welch to assist you in your job search.   We appreciate your time and effort in meeting with us.  The following outlines what you can expect from us as your employer and what we expect from all of our temporary employees.  We want to ensure that you are successful while working on assignments with our clients, so please utilize the guidelines below to help ensure that success.  Boly:Welch is committed to finding career opportunities for all qualified temporary employees.

Boly:Welch As Your Employer

Although temporary assignments are fulfilled at our various client locations, Boly:Welch is considered your employer.  All questions regarding your employment and/or assignment should be directed to a Boly:Welch Staffing Coordinator.  Anything related to the actual job function or work flow can be discussed with the client supervisor that you are working with on your assignment.

Attendance and Punctuality

Punctuality and regular attendance are essential to the success of our business.  Please arrive at your assignment 10-15 minutes early.  If you are going to be absent, it is your responsibility to notify a Boly:Welch Staffing Coordinator at least two hours prior to your scheduled shift.  For late arrival, whenever possible, you are also required to contact a Staffing Coordinator with your estimated arrival time.  Scheduled time off will require advanced approval (two weeks prior) from a Boly:Welch Staffing Coordinator.  Excessive tardiness or absenteeism (three or more occurrences) may result in grounds for termination.

Unexcused Absence

Failing to report to work without calling in, “No Call No Show”, will result in disciplinary action and grounds for termination.  Failure to report to work without calling in for two consecutive workdays is considered a voluntary termination.

Dress Code

Please abide by the client -specific dress code.  Your appearance/attire should always reflect a professional demeanor.  If you have any questions regarding appropriate attire, please ask your Staffing Coordinator.

Client Equipment and/or Property

Equipment, supplies, identification cards, badges, company keys, phones, computers and all materials provided by the client are to be used for business purposes only.  You may not take, give or use these materials for any other purposes.  All client equipment, property, and materials are to be returned immediately upon completion or termination of the assignment.  Failure to do so could be considered theft and  may result in termination as a Boly:Welch employee.

Payroll Procedures

You will be paid weekly for the time worked while on assignment at any of our client locations.  It will be your responsibility to fill out and turn in a signed timecard each week.  Below are the procedures to follow in order to accurately be paid on time.

  • Please put one work week on each timecard.  This includes all days worked in a seven-day period starting on Monday and ending on Sunday.
  • Make sure to include the dates you worked, the company you worked for, and the last four digits of your social security number.
  • Make sure both you and your supervisor sign the timecard.
  • Turn in your timecard by 5 PM Monday following the week you work.  You can either drop it off at our office or fax it to the accounting department at 503-323-9087 or 360-735-8646.  If we don’t receive your timecard by this time, your paycheck may be delayed.
  • If you fax in your time card, please call 503-242-1300 or 360-735-8606 to verify that it was received and is legible.  Even if you receive a fax confirmation on your end, it is possible that we received a blank or smudged page.  Please note that faxing a photocopy of your timecard will work much better than trying to put the actual timecard through the fax machine.
  • We offer direct deposit for all of our employees.  If you are interested please obtain the direct deposit form on our website and submit the form with a voided check.
  • Paychecks are available for pickup between 12:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Fridays or Direct Deposit
  • Please remember to bring I.D. with you when you come to pick up your check.  Any paychecks not picked up by 4:45 p.m. will be placed in the mail that day.
  • Paychecks will not be released to anyone other than the Boly:Welch temporary employee without pre-approved written authorization.
