PARTNERS SPEAK OUT

Goodbye 2009. Hello 2010 and the promise of a more vibrant economy. We look forward to better times, more stability and the jobs to seal the deal. On our 2010 Wish List? A healthy economy, a stronger employment picture and signs of growth!

We welcome the positive, but cautious approach being taken by employers across the country. This “Great Recession” has been rough on Oregonians, touching each and every one of us in some way – a leveler of conversations across the community. We’re not out of the woods, but thankful that the losses were not greater and that there seems to be light at the end of this long tunnel.

As founding partners in Boly:Welch, we value and appreciate the strong friendships built with you over these 23 years and wish you and your team all the best in 2010.

Census data supports the allocation of Congressional seats to our state, provides logic for extending community services, and forms the basis for distributing nearly $300 billion each year in federal funds to local, state, and tribal governments. Oregon possibly stands to gain a seat in the Congressional House, buoyed by changes to local demographics. All states including Oregon are currently hiring census takers. More... »

IT'S ABOUT COMMUNITY

We have a culture of community involvement at Boly:Welch, long embraced by staff and partners alike. From financial and in-kind support to a high level of volunteerism to direct service for non-profit organizations, our community footprint and partnerships have always been a priority. Boly:Welch employees have embraced these relationships and have grown from their expanded roles and involvement with these amazing agencies. And because we touch so many lives across the course of our workday, we’re looking for ways to connect these organizations with new contributors and volunteers.

Each month in this newsletter we’ll connect our business friends with organizations who are making a difference in the community – groups to keep your eye on as you consider how your team can make a difference. Because you don’t have to be big to make a big difference. Meet our partner:
