Educational/Certification Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field

Qualifications:

2+ years of payroll processing experience in a small or medium sized professional office required

Knowledge of payroll standards including state and federal regulations required

Solid understanding of current payroll trends and best practices required

Experience working in a non-profit environment a plus

Computer Experience/Special Skills:

MS Office with strong MS Excel skills

Experience using Financial Edge strongly preferred

Job Description:

Progressive community outreach program with a rich history seeks dependable professional with a strong work ethic to manage all payroll activities within the company.  Step into this team environment where you’ll work with a diverse group of employees and clients.  Take on the preparation of salaried and hourly payroll processing, review timecards, calculate tax deductions, and process authorized employee deductions.  Fill the remainder of your days making payroll deposits, tracking worker’s compensation premiums and filing reports, posting payroll related transactions to the general ledger, processing employee benefit invoices, handling monthly reconciliations of credit card statements, and providing backup for accounts payable operations as well.  Your Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, 2+ years of payroll processing experience in a professional office, and solid understanding of state and federal payroll regulations opens the door of opportunity!  Contact Boly:Welch to learn how you can make a difference!
