Position/Job Title: Accounts Payable Accountant

Salary: $17-18/hr

Educational/Certification Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field

Qualifications:

2-3+ years of high volume, full process accounts payable experience in a finance office with a non-profit organization required

Knowledge of fund accounting required

Computer Experience/Special Skills:

Advanced MS Excel skills

Experience using Blackbaud accounting system preferred

Job Description:

Do you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2-3+ years of high volume accounts payable experience?  Help make a difference in your community managing accounts payables, accounts receivables, and cash receipts for this local, reputable non-profit organization!  Build upon your knowledge as you process vouchers, generate the weekly check run, prepare and file 1099-MISC documents, post cash receipt transactions to the general ledger, provide backup for payroll processing, and assist the Controller and Vice President create and update policies and procedures.  Advanced MS Excel skills are required while experience using Blackbaud accounting system is preferred.  If you’re searching for a diverse work environment with a great company then look no further!  Contact Boly:Welch to find out if you’re a fit!
